SPM Vega

SPM was founded in 2001, with a past and considerable high quality machining and micro-mechanics experience. We produce and sell all over the world dynamic and competition models parts, components, engines and accessories. Our is a Company always growing, always focused on our customers needs and demands.

SPM production line follows very high standards to ensure quality without compromises. Our CNC machines have high precision and the latest technology in order to drastically prevent the risk of manufacturing defects. Each product family mechanics is stressed in various conditions, each single piece is controlled with extreme precision.

All our components, as well as VEGA Engine of our production, are designed and produced in our factory with a high level choice of materials.

Our engines and components high quality is the reason of their success in racing competitions. We participated in the World Tournament in Australia in 2004 and our engines have won the Italian National Rally Championship in 2006.

Vega Engines

The entire range of VEGA Engines was born from a careful design, it is oriented both to a high competition level ando also for recreational pursuits, offering great powers, mechanical and thermal stability and reliability. In terms of performance, in fact, Vega Engines have the credentials to be considered among “the best” but with a value for money significantly better than other similar products on the market today. Also significant the after-sales assistance, both in tecnical advices for a proper sport's training and in the wide range of spare parts.

The mechanical precision and attention to the details of each component is ensured by the use of the latest generation of CNC machines and of advanced technology.

In the design phase, by using advanced mechanical simulation softwares, we observe and correct all thermal deformation behaviors at extreme temperatures. Production materials choice is only among the high-quality materials. The entire desing and production is strictly Made in Italy.

The engines heads are made of aluminium alloy for lightweight and perfect heat dissipation, with colored and clear look anodization maintaining a pure racing style. The pistons, derived from solid or made of casting, ensure lightness, excellent smoothness and reduced friction. The cylinders, made of brass alloy, of high hardness and high wear resistance, have up to seven lights for the higher powers. The connecting rods, with bearing in the head and foot, are well studied and made with an attentive eye to the lightness, accelerations and idling speed. The underheads, STD or conical (Turbo) depending on engine, are specifically designed to promote optimal combustion and perfect heat dissipation. The crankshafts, in special quality steel and high mechanical strength, have a comma on the crank area and a supply area perfectly blended, while the inside is hollow and filled with silicone elastic material to provide greater lightness. The ball-bearings are supplied with steel balls or, for fans of the genre, in ceramic on request. The carburetors are made of nylon and ergal, with interchangeable Venturi for increased ease of preparation.

The glow plugs, with special steel body and a platinum alloy filament, ensure the correct power, maximum corrosion resistance and good duration of use. The header pipes and mufflers, made of special aluminum alloy, are designed to maximize engine performance and facilitate easy cleaning. The attention grabbing design and care in chrome plating offer an elegant and sporty style at the same time.
